WHAT IS WIGS GONE ROGUE?
WIGS GONE ROGUE is a wig-loan, donation and consignment community designed to connect people through shared hair and experiences. We created this community to address key challenges our guests faced: the high cost of wigs and hair pieces, and the emotional attachment many feel towards their wigs, even when no longer needed, making it important to find a new owner who will appreciate and care for them.
In partnership with PMH & the UHN we aim to bridge the gap between patients and their need for wigs, as well as provide crucial education on scalp and hair health. We strive to create a seamless transition for UHN patients experiencing hair loss, establishing a direct line of communication to address their needs and concerns.
WIGS GONE ROGUE aims to alleviate the burden on patients during a challenging time by eliminating the need for extensive wig research. Through our donation, consignment, and loan programs, patients can access wigs by donating, selling or borrowing them, simplifying the process and easing their worries.
